TWISTAGO in brief
Twistago is not a classic board game app where pieces are moved from A to B. By moving your own figures during the game, the opposing figures are moved as well. The game has only a few rules which are dealt with at the TUTORIAL level. The game is then played against either human opponents or the computer. Against the computer, the game is played through three levels, with the PRO level requiring a great deal of strategy, patience and ambition. Playing against one opponent is still relatively easy. Against two or three components, however, things become trickier: the unpredictable moves of several opponents will force you to constantly change your strategy. But whether you play against friends or a computer, Twistago is something new and will have you hooked on winning!
TWISTAGO in depth
At first glance Twistago looks like a classic board game app where pieces are moved from A to B. The catch is revealed on second glance: The novel mechanism of movement during the game ensures that when your own figures move your opponent’s figures are shifted as well. This creates a very important secondary effect, namely that with Twistago it is irrelevant who starts the game. The second, third or even fourth player can adjust their strategy ideally to suit the previous move and potentially find a better strategic position for their own figures. The few important rules are covered extensively in the TUTORIAL level, and can also be read separately. The game is then played against human opponents (not yet possible online) or the computer. The EASY level can be quickly overcome. To master the NORMAL level, a fair amount of strategic thinking is required. The PRO level is a real challenge and so is aimed mainly at the most ambitious of strategists. The artificial intelligence at this point works to an entirely different principle, which quickly becomes clear as the game progresses. Playing one opponent is still more or less straightforward. Against two or three components, however, things soon become trickier: chaos and the unpredictable moves of numerous opponents force you to be vigilant at all times and frequently change your strategy. But whether you play against friends or a computer, Twistago is something new and will have you hooked on winning!
